Code of Conduct (the Code)

The Code details the professional and ethical standards for registered migration agents.

It is legally provided for in section 314 of the Migration Act 1958, and it is prescribed in Schedule 2 of Regulation 8 of the Migration Agents Regulations 1998.

Information on the Regulation of the Migration Advice Profession (IRMAP)


Agents are required to provide the Information on the Regulation of the Migration Advice Profession (IRMAP) (in English) to clients after agreeing to do work for them, but before commencing that work, on this page the IRMAP is available in a number of different community languages.
