We arenot just Migration Agents. We are also Qualified Australian Lawyers & members of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV). So even after you migrate we are happy to extend our friendly services, for e.g. when buying property, finance, certifying documents and other legal work.
Registration is not required for offshore agents - and many illegal agents operate in and outside Australia. These "agents" need not pay client funds into a client/trust account, need not report on funds received, and do are not obliged to participate incontinues professional education to update knowledge & skills and sometimes do not even lodge applications !).
Suggested questions to ask when choosing a migration agent;
Are you a (Australian) lawyer who holds a current practicing certificate?
Are you registered with Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA) ?
Do you have a trust account for client monies with an approved bank?
We are not a home based agency; our main office is situated in the middle of Burwood a major suburb in Melbourne (Mel way 60 H6) in the most convenient location. We are close to all bus stops and tram stops (just in front). We have Migration, Property, Family Lawyers and General practitioners in our team.
You pay for a professional service. The initial assessment & the work of the application is done individually by a qualified Australian Migration Lawyer (note just a migration agent)
We spend on average up to an hour for an initial assessment & over 60 hours on a TR application, and up to 120 hours on a PR application until conclusion of the application.
The cost of an application is significant; application fees paid to DIAC are not refundable.
We will NOT ACEPT cases unless we are of the firm opinion of a successful outcome
Our fees are fixed and firm for 30 days as of date of finalising your assessment.
Our costs include all members eligible for inclusion in the application e.g. spouse & dependent children.
It is our policy to provide a fixed (total) rate for each application.
