Before signing any contracts make sure that you have a solicitor check it. It is highly recommended that you:
get a pre-purchase property inspection report
measure the boundaries
make sure the property complies with local building codes
get a pest inspection
If you are buying off-the-plan make sure that the contract sets a firm date by which the property must be finished.
We as your solicitor can thoroughly read and check the contract to make sure that it reflects your interests and requirements, not only the vendors.
